Welcome to my blog!

My name is Sarah, and this is where I show off all the nerdy things I make and do, as well as clothes for modern (I’m using the word ‘modern’ in a broad sense here) clothes and more household-y items, thus sparing those among my family and friends that don’t share my Jill-of-all-nerdy-trades personality. I like to make historical clothing, Disney costumes, Harry Potter stuff and a lot of other peculiar things.

I was formerly blogging under the name A Most Peculiar Mademoiselle, but being now in my mid-thirties, married, and a mother of three, I didn’t quite identify with that anymore. Being quite as peculiar as ever, an educated seamstress, and blogging mostly about sewing, A Most Peculiar Seamstress seemed like a logical change, even if I haven’t actually worked as a seamstress for some time.

Lastly, excuse the mess. I just recently changed blogging platform, and I’m not quite settled in yet. I hope you’ll find my content interesting none the less.
